tips:
- Avoid trans-fatty acids in
hydrogenated oils, in processed foods, and margarine
- Be aware or proper HDL/LDL ratios
- Avoid or eliminate refined sugars —
they cause "increased insulin sensitivity,"
sudden insulin increases that ultimately lead to hypoglycemia (low blood
sugar)
- Decrease food additives
- Keep salt intake low
- Take antioxidants
- Address food allergies
